Canada is set to boost Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) slots in 2025, reversing the earlier cuts that left many provinces struggling with labour shortages. 🙌

Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab announced that several provinces — including Nova Scotia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, BC, Newfoundland, Saskatchewan, and Alberta — will receive additional nomination spaces.

This is great! I see this as a positive and much-needed correction. PNPs are the lifeblood of regional growth, helping provinces bring in skilled workers who truly make a difference in local communities. 🏗️👩‍⚕️👨‍🍳

While overall immigration targets remain capped, this move shows that Ottawa is listening to provincial concerns and recognizing the importance of flexible, region-based immigration planning.
